I always receive a very thorough exam including all the preliminary tests before seeing Dr Meeker. Dr. Meeker explains everything and presents all my options. No other eye doctor I've seen offers Optomap.

Dr. Meeker has been in practice in his home town of Vestal since 1985. He is a graduate of Vestal High School, Colgate University and the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, an organization dedicated to excellence in optometric practice and requiring examinations for fellowship. Dr. Meeker is certified to treat ocular disease to the fullest extent allowed optometrists in New York State.
In June 2011, Dr. Meeker became one of the first 500 optometrists in the U.S. to achieve Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry status by passing the initial offering of its board certification examination in June.
Optometrists board certified by the American Board of Optometry must engage in maintenance of certification via ongoing education, computer assessments, practice improvement exercises and periodic exams to demonstrate continued competency.
His special interests include: Pre- & Post-op Cataract, Glaucoma & Refractive Surgery; Diagnosis & Treatment of Glaucoma; Treatment of Eye Infections, Eye Allergies & Dry Eyes; Corneal Refractive Therapy.
