Best doctor I’ve ever been too. Very knowledgeable about most things in life, understands exactly what the other specialists plan to do. I always run any treatment methods from other doctors by Dr. Rance for his input. Best in the West, better than the rest.

Dr Rance always takes the time to explain things in layman’s terms. I’ve been going to Dr. Rance for thirty years. I drive two hours each month for my appointments. He is the best doctor in Texas. A very good man.

I was fine with everything except the waiting...I was an hour early and was not seen til after 5pm.
Dr. Rance is very honest and gets straight to the point. Overall, my visit with him was great!

Great, friendly doctor! The only issue with the visit was the long wait time.
He is the best doctor on the planet. Saved my life when others gave up.

Wonderful and caring .

Dr Rance is very knowledgeable about other specialist and their procedures. I always check with Dr. Rance prior to any procedure. I've been going to Dr. Rance for almost 30 years. He is the best and a wonderful man.

I was very disappointed with this doctor; after they rescheduled my appointment 1 hour later and I went to the new appointment, I was surprised that he hasn't come to the office yet!! No respect for the patients. Why they make appointments if they don't honor them? I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.
For my first visit with Dr. Rance he was a breath of fresh air. He is highly knowledgeable, very caring and accommodating. He took the time out to actually address my medical concerns, even though he is a very busy Physician, I would definitely highly recommend his medical group so for these reasons, I give Dr. Ronald Rance and his staff especially Gary 5 Stars....

He may run a bit late but once in the rooms, his staff as well as the doc's bedside manner and overall discussion really make him worth the wait

Doctor Rance truly cares for his patients and will do as necessary to treat you. I have a very rare condition that was discovered by Doctor Rance over 28 years ago. I drive over four hours every month to follow up with Doctor Rance. I have faith in him and the doctors he refers me to for other conditions.

I do not understand how this office has such high reviews. While Dr. Rance is very personable, his office is a mess. I have been there multiple times for appointments and I have never waited less than an hour after my scheduled time to be seen. His office staff leaves for lunch half an hour early and returns half an hour late. If you value your time at all, do not make an appointment at this office.
I got there 10 minutes early. They did not acknowledge my presence until 15 minutes later. When they returned my documents, I asked how much longer it would be. I was told that the wait would be 35-45 more minutes. At that point, I told them that I would not be waiting.
Rude
The office is very nice and clean. Unfortunately, the wait time was forever. This was du to unforeseen circumstances though because the doctor was called away to the hospital for an emergency. The staff was awesome and the doctor was terrific. Will be going back every time I have any issues.

Very professional and easy going.

Doctor Rance is incompetent. He and I discussed what the likely problem was, and he said that he was ordering a specific test, which we discussed. When the imaging place finally fit me in, Rance had ordered two other tests, neither of which we had discussed, rather than the one that he promised. The test that Rance promised would have ruled out the worst possibilities. So now I'm left not knowing what is wrong (the tests he ordered showed nothing), and worried about what could be. Fired. He is fired.

He is a very knowledgeable doctor. I felt a little rushed and it seems that they overbook patience for the same time. They don't go by appointment time, instead they call your name by the time you arrived and sign in.
I waited about 1-2 hours after my appt to see the doctor and finally when he came in he was very professional however, I felt very rushed.. I had stomach pains and needed to get an endoscopy. I wasn't able to get it as I have not met my insurance deductible. I haven't seen Dr. Rance since
Verified patient
I was not comfortable with him. His office was a mess. I ended up not scheduling the colonoscopy with him and went elsewhere.
Great doctor. Very helpful and friendly.
I've had many doctors dismiss me or order invasive/expensive tests that yielded no benefit to me. Dr. Rance was knowledgeable, listened to what I had to say and was conscious of the potential insurance charges with unnecessary testing. I don't mind waiting for proper treatment.
The most thorough doctor ever.
Verified patient
Best physician ever. He spends the time he needs with you, rather than watching the clock. He listens. He is honest, thoughtful and direct. I'm so glad I found him.
Verified patient
Dr Rance has been treating me for over twenty years. He diagnosed and successfully treats my illness when others gave up. Dr Rance truly cares for his patients. I have numerous other ailments of which Dr Rance is also very knowledgeable. I feel I am blessed to be treated by this remarkable man.
Verified patient
The doctor is straight forward and is great but he will make you wait. My wait time today was more than two hours, I do not live close to his office so because I had to wait for so long, it took me close to three hours to get home so basically for a 10 minutes of actually talking to him, it took me total of 5 hours, and that is without adding my drive to the place.
The staff was very friendly and took me back right away to take my vitals. However, I waited in the exam room for an hour and 30 minutes before I was able to see Dr. Rance. However, I found out that he got held up at the hospital, otherwise, I think I would have been seen much sooner. I am overall satisfied with my visit. On another note: one room where my weight/height and basic information was taken was very cluttered. It looked like they were using that room for storage as well as blood work. It could be cleaned up a bit.

He is a great doctor and soo nice person
I am really really happy to have found Dr. Rance's office. It has been awhile, but I have finally found a doctor's office that has a friendly, attentive and professional staff and a 5 star physician! He listened to my concerns, gave me detailed options and I feel fully satisfied with the overall outcome of my appointment. And after 5 specialists later I can finally say that I can trust a doctor with my precious health! So I give Dr. Rance and his staff 5 stars!

A 1h40m wait is unacceptable.
Good
He is a good, he knows everything about everything. If you don't understand something he will stay as long as you need until you understand it and there are not a lot of Doctors out there that will do that with there patients. It is usually hi and bye. I am very thankful to have met him. I know he will take very good care of me. He is what a good Dr. is suppose to be. !!!!! He has true compassion for his patients and that is what it takes to be a Dr. in this day and age. Without that how are you going to be able to care for the wounded and the afflicted....
