I have never had Dr. Patel choose to treat me herself. Rather, she quickly sees me and refers me out. (I have seen her on an HMO plan, so was unable to see specialists without her referral.) On one occasion, when I used Zocdoc to make an appointment, her staff read the information I provided and (quite correctly!) decided she didn't need to see me at all, but got me quickly connected with the specialist I needed.
I do wish that I felt like there was more time to talk to her during our appointments.

The staffs were nice and location is not bad at all.
But the doctor , she was kind of rush and cut you off and not having time to listen to what patient had to say. She cut you off when you tells her your reason and she makes you feel stupid when you aren't sure what she asked
This is not my first time here . For people who just wants a medicine , get in and get out . This is the place for you . But if you don't know what's wrong with you and this is not the place for you ..
She is not that kind of caring doctor who will help you diagnose what's wrong with you .

Dr. Patel's goal seems to be to get the patient out of her exam room as quickly as possible. She is less interested in treating a problem than in writing a referral.

This was my first visit. The doctor walked in with her computer and did not even look at me or greet me professionally. Not a real good sign. I am going to go back one more time and give her the benefit of the doubt.

I made a mistake when sceduling a simple procedure to get an iud placed. I originally was sent to one office and then referenced to another. Anyhow when I got into the office the doctor came in and was very hostile and disrespectful to both my mother and I asking how I was even able to get an appointment. He insulted my intellegance and asked if I could read the sign outside that clearly says family practice. He also became aggressive with my mother where she then left and while I was still in the room with the doctor he slammed the door with me in the room asked about my insurance and then told me with my insurance I wouldn't be able to be in his office. Regardless of the fact that I was tricare standard i have the ability to go to any doctors office. He was extremely aggressive, argumentative,and arrogant. Not to mention when he slammed the door behind him I became flustered and left the room immediately. I would advise that one should not visit this office, he is extremely demeaning and disrespectful and I don't know how he is able to regain clientele.

Dr Patel was very good. This was my first visit so more will be determined when blood test results are back.They are able to draw blood in the office which eliminates having to go to the lab. Just be sure and fast if you are a new pt. I would highly recommend this office and if you live on the south side, this location is easy to get to.

I was and am NOT pleased with this doctors office due to only visiting this office because my normal doctor was out of town and was told that I only had to pay 20 dollars for my visit and did so. Then I got a bill in the mail for a couple hundred dollars as a first time patient. I told the lady at the front desk that I would not visit the office if it was going to be more than a copay due to having insurance and I could see another doctor. The lady once again confirmed that I would only have to pay the copay and now I have a bill that I am being "collected" on.
