Mr. Parkes is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 25 years of healthcare experience. He began his career in the Air Force Reserve and holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University with training at the US Naval Hospital in Okinawa. He completed a two-year fellowship in rheumatology while at Brooke Army Medical Center with subsequent practice at the Rheumatology Clinic. Mr. Parkes has also worked in physical medicine, rehab and long-term care. His nursing career includes work in the ER, Critical care, and neurosurgery/neurology.
