Very helpful and pleasent staff. Dr. Smith is very professional and made me feel comfortable. I hate hate hate gynecologist visits and doctors in general but this was a good experience. I was in and out in 30 minutes for an annual. That's the best part.

I was in for quite the uncomfortable procedure; however, Dr. Smith and her staff were so kind. They made a very uncomfortable/painful procedure completely doable. I appreciated Dr. Smith's frankness and the way she talked me through each step. There were no surprises, and she even let me know exactly what to expect after the procedure.
I do not want to have another colposcopy, but if I had to have one, I would have it at Peachtree Gynecology!

Royshanda C. Smith is a board-certified OBGYN, specializing in minimally invasive gynecology surgery.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Smith attended Tulane University for medical school and residency followed by a fellowship in laparoscopic gynecologic surgery at the University of Louisville. Her goal is to provide comprehensive health care for women with an emphasis on patient education. Dr. Smith is extensively trained in robotic and laparoscopic pelvic surgery. Her areas of special interest include abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, and endometriosis. She also provides care for menopausal symptoms and facial aesthetics using Botox.
Her personal interests include classical ballet and modern Jazz dance, piano, swimming and soccer. She also proudly serves in the United States Air Force Reserve as a flight surgeon.

Dr. Smith was great. I felt instantly comfortable with her and she had an answer and a solution to all of my concerns. The staff was very pleasant and the wait time was just long enough for me to sign in, use the restroom, and respond to one text message. Shortest office wait I've ever had.

Dr. Smith verbally walked me through the procedure. Seeing the Doctor can often be awkward and uncomfortable and she kept that from happening as much as possible. I was seen very quickly - My appointment was at 10 am, and I was out the door on my way back to work by 10:45!

While I love the personalities of the nurses, etc., my last two appointments here have been less than pleasant. My first negative encounter was when I received a message from the team notifying me of questionable test results after hours on a Friday (despite it being early afternoon), leaving me unable to call back until Monday. Once I arrived for a follow up appointment, I realized they only told me partial information over the phone, and I do not like surprises, particularly negative ones.
They then referred me to another doctor and scheduled my appointment for a date prior to my test results being back, further wasting my time.
Lastly, today I arrived for another check up. While I did arrive a few minutes late to my 8:30am appointment (5-10 min late), I was not called back almost 9:15, where I then sat another 10 minutes until I was seen. All of this for a hurried doctor to spend two minutes with me. They also forgot I needed a shot until I convinced them I was remembering correctly and they then double checked the records.
The icing on the cake? The parking machine ate my validation and the attendant in the office building basically said "too bad".
Overall, I haven't been impressed.

I thought both Dr. Smith and her staff were knowledgeable, eager to help and suggest, and were very inviting to me. I know without a doubt I made a great decision by picking Dr. Smith and I immediately referred someone to her within an hour of completing my visit!!

Very unprofessional. She was judgmental and unapproachable. I did not feel comfortable asking questions about my medication and health. I also felt very rushed and overwhelmed during and after the appointment even though there was nobody else in the waiting room. I also did not get my prescription called in after calling the office 3 times. Very bad experience, I will not be going back.

Although the doctor was friendly I felt rushed, especially since I had a number of questions. She was on her way to the door by the time I could tell her I had another issue to discuss. Probably a capable professional, but since I had a number of issues that worried me I would have appreciated her taking more time and not making me feel like she had somewhere else to be.

Dr. Smith was wonderful!! Very good bedside manner in my opinion. Also very honest and frank. The nurse I had, Kiki, was also great. Both made me feel very comfortable. Obviously nobody likes going to the gynecologist, but I felt like I was just having a conversation with my girlfriends while I was there. Highly recommend.

I don't have the words to say how wonderful Dr Smith was with my procedure. I was so nervous. I had worked myself up into a panic, about the procedure. I barley felt anything. I had a small bit of cramps and that was it. This doctor is amazing!

The nurse was very nice and the staff great. I came in to get a birth control advice, had done all of my research and Dr. Smith spoke to me like I had no idea what I was talking about. She didn't listen to what I was trying to do or what my needs were. She was very rude in my opinion.

My first visit with Dr. Smith prove to be quite positive. It was obvious that she very carefully reviewed my patient history. She also asked many questions to make sure that she had the whole picture. Dr. Smith explained everything thoroughly, including how we would proceed with my treatment. I did not feel rushed at all. I highly recommend Dr. Smith. She is a wonderful doctor!p

She is good at what she does. I don' t like to discuss my treatment methods in the hallway. All things should be discussed in the exam room. It is impersonal and lacks privacy and if this a practice of the practice, it should be changed. Dr. Smith is great though.
