Dr. Gupta was born in India. When she was fourteen years old she moved with her family to Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland. She completed her two-year surgical residency at Parkway Regional Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Her training involved primary and surgical care for patients of all ages. Following her residency, she completed one month of training in Vienna, Austria where she learned the latest surgical techniques for lower extremity trauma under the watchful eye of leading European trauma surgeons. Dr. Gupta is affiliated with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association. She also serves on the executive committee for the Johns Creek Healthcare Association. She has staff privileges at Emory Johns Creek Hospital where she also serves as the Chairperson for the Podiatry Section. She also enjoys treating patients at Belmont Village, Ivy Hall and the Cohen Home. She volunteers for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the American Diabetes Association. She also provides her services for local non-profit clinics. Dr. Gupta resides in Cumming with her husband and son.
