More about Dr. Russell Medders, MD, FACS
Dr. Medders is a native North Carolinian having grown up in Louisburg the son of a family doctor. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and continued at Chapel Hill for medical school. He then went to Baltimore for residency training in Otolarygology-Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Medders is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Dr. Medders is an enthusiastic supporter of the arts and community development of Raleigh. He serves on several Boards including the Art Society for the NC Museum of Art.
Dr. Medders is interested in all aspects of ENT. He particularly enjoys Pediatric ENT. He also has interests in treatment of sinus disease and allergy, thyroid disorders and head and neck cancer detection and treatment.
