More about Dr. Rutherford Hayes, MD
Dr. Hayes graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1989 and completed a residency in internal medicine in 1993. He spent the next 16 years as an internal medicine physician at some of the Northwest's top institutions including Minor and James and University of Washington Medical Center. During his time in internal medicine, Dr. Hayes was intrigued by skin conditions and turned his focus toward the subspecialty of dermatology. In 2009 he joined Island Dermatology to pursue specialized training under the instruction of Dr. Baron. Dr. Hayes treats the entire range of dermatology conditions including acne, skin cancer, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema. Dr. Hayes continues to be an active member in the King County Medical Society and the Washington State Medical Association.
