Dr. Shea took a piece of metal out of my eye several years ago, and I have been a patient ever since. I never wait long and my prescription eyeglasses are always right.

Originally from Martha’s Vineyard, Dr. Shea attended the New England College of Optometry in order to pursue his doctoral optometry degree. He has received special training in subjects that include corneal reshaping therapy, LASIK techniques, and care prior to and following surgery. Dr. Shea now holds certification from the American Board of Optometry.
Patients visiting Dr. Shea can receive a full range of optometric services. He provides comprehensive dilated eye examinations, removal of foreign bodies, developmental vision examinations, fittings for contact lenses and eyeglasses, and general consultations. Treatment is available for issues including dry eye, eye infection, vision loss, double vision, cataracts, cornea problems, and glaucoma. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Shea enjoys martial arts, cooking, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
