He graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a Bachelor of Engineering/Sciences in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering in 1985. After several years, he decided to pursue a medical degree from St. Louis University Medical School. He completed his residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at Emory University in Atlanta in 2001.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also certified in the use of the robotic daVinci Surgical System®.

Dr. Bashok & his staff are amazing & have been such a blessing in my life. I moved to the area when I was 8 mo. pregnant and was blown away with how comfortable I immediately felt. Now midway through another pregnancy, I can tell you that Dr. Bashuk is an extremely competent doctor, very friendly, keeps me laughing & always makes me feel like my health & my baby's health are his top priority. Even when things don't go according to plan, Dr. Bashuk & his staff are always kind, supportive & accessible. It really feels like they are part of my extended family. My appts are always quick & I receive his full attention & time. I cannot say enough about how much the NP OBGYN staff & Dr. Bashuk mean to my family.
