Welcome to Crescent Psychiatry, a Women's Mental Health Clinic.
Dr. Sabahat Faheem is a Board Certified psychiatrist and has been in practice since 2004.
She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Meharry Medical College, Nashville, TN. During her training, she worked in multiple settings including a state hospital, a community hospital, as well as veteran hospital.
After completing her medical training, Dr. Faheem worked at the Veterans Affairs Hospital for several years, in Dallas, TX. While there, Dr. Faheem became well-versed in treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorders and substance abuse disorders.
She also received her Masters of Public Health from Tulane University. Her MPH degree made her well equipped to analyze and understand the social, environmental, and biological determinants of mental health problems in her patients.
She started her private practice in 2012 and has been successfully serving the DFW community. Dr. Faheem’s ability to build rapport with her patients has made her successful in both inpatient and outpatient settings
