Sabra Daley was born and raised in Oakland as a third generation Bay Area native. She was always interested in medicine, even as a small child. After majoring in cell and molecular biology, Sabra became a respiratory therapist, working in all areas of the hospital. She took care of patients with asthma and lung disease, postsurgical patients, and premies on ventilators. Sabra enjoys managing chronic conditions, diagnosing and treating medical problems, doing histories and physicals, doing well-woman examinations, injecting joints, and doing in-office biopsies and minor surgeries. Sabra lives in Alameda and enjoys spending time with her husband, Peter, and her two children. She plays Irish music on the concertina and accordion, and she is often seen playing local gigs at Irish functions.
