He completed one year of Internal Medicine at Deaconess Hospital.He then completed his Neurology Residency Training at the University of Louisville, and then at Louisiana State University.Following his residency trainning,he completed a post-doctorate Fellowship in Neurodiagnostics (Electromyography and Electroencephalography),at Louisiana State University. The wait took forever!!! I got there at 11:30am I was not seen until 2ish like seriously. I was not feeling good the whole time. Theres only 1 doctor there with alot of patients. So if you go be prepared to have a very long wait. Either than that the doctor was good and nurse professional and helpful.

I'd been seeing Dr. Murra for over a year, my condition never got any better and he did nothing more than continue to prescribe me drugs and pain killers to mask the pain. His office staff is extremely unprofessional and very lazy. They don't return calls, they have the patient do all the communicating between their office and other doctors. The staff is the worst I've ever had to deal with - EVER! But I guess the staff is a reflection of the doctors they work for! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

Very long waiting time, nurses unqualified, the one who did the eye test seems to be her first time working there, she does not know what is the procedure and how to explain it to the patient. Doctor give me his opinion as I was going there for just cosultation, but it seems that he is forcing me to go ahead with his treatment. His oofice keep calling me over and over to take the medication, which I didnt request from the begining .. Wooooorse expirence ever.

Doctor Murra can be attentive, but be prepared to wait anywhere from 2:30 to 4 hours to see him. And when you call, they tell you to call after 2pm and when you call after 2 they are already gone for the day. Worst doctor's office ever. He won't renew your fmla unless you are an established patient, I have MS and he won't renew mine. Good luck trying to get a hold of the office staff you you have any medication issue that needs to be resolved.

It was ok. Doctor did t have much personality and seemed rushed but ultimately seemed to know what he was doing. The documents I completed beforehand were not retrieved by the do tor's office so it was annoying having to re-complete while there. This also delayed the time for me to be seen by the doctor.

This doctors office is the most professional doctors office I believe I have ever been to. They are courteous, kind, and knowledgeable...which is exactly what you need and expect from a doctor and staff. I have only one piece of constructive criticism; and it is to say the lobby sofa truely needs to be put to rest... Otherwise, sheer perfection. I'm glad I made a great choice. Thx zocdoc.
