Everything about this office and Dr. Shetty is great. The whole experience was really good. I changed my PCP many times for many reasons but mostly because I was treated as a number not a patient. The time I spent in Dr. Shetty's office in my last visit was more than the time I spent at my last 5 PCP visits. He really listens to you and you can tell that he knows his stuff. I would really recommend him but please don't make him too busy and ruin the waiting time. Regarding the waiting time, by the time you finish the paper work you will be called to see the doctor. I highly recommend this doc.

Highly recommend this office! Everyone is very professional, I work in a medical office myself and I appreciate great customer service/patient care. I have not been feeling well and they were able to see me right away. Jessica is always a pleasure. I met the newest addition to the staff Jocelyn today, She was the Medical Assistant in the room with me, she was also very sweet and understanding when asking me about my symptoms. If you're looking for a Primary Care Doctor in the Old Bridge area you should definitely schedule an appointment with Dr. Shetty!!

I rarely write reviews on any l websites, much less about a physician but my God, I HAD TO write about what a wonderful experience I had with Dr. Sameer Shetty and his medical assistant, Jessica.
Please allow me to share a little about me. I'm 52, 6 feet tall, and a diabetic. I was seeing a different doctor because my former doctor, (who shall remain nameless because frankly, I do not wish to give him any free press), simply did NOT listen to me. He was dismissive of my concerns so frankly, I was jaded. He and his partner were involved in a dispute and basically, those two doctors demanded that every patient choose one of them. Yes, I know-- this childish, immature behavior is not what we expect. As you can imagine, my wife and I were jaded. I was ignoring a cut on my foot that did not heal and my former doctor still prescribed Invokana, knowing full well that now there are lawsuits against the makers of Invokana for amputations.
As you can imagine, I was upset.
And jaded. However, I played a role in this mess and honestly, it was up to ME, to assert myself and find another doctor.
But I didn't.
You know who did?
My wife.
She researched every doctor that accepted our insurance, made an appointment with Dr.Shetty for me. I told her that all doctors are the same and she called me out on my BS. She said that I was using this as a pretext, an excuse for not going to another doctor.
And she was right about me.
And she was so right about Dr.Shetty!
He came in, shook my hand and (shock) HE LISTENED TO ME.
He was extremely knowledgeable about diabetes and listened to my concerns. He scheduled me for bloodwork and when the results came in, his office called AND emailed me. His bedside manner is second to none. Not a moment did I feel rushed and made me feel that he GENUINELY cared for my wellbeing.
If you were like me, who had a doctor who didn't really care for your health, make an appt with Jessica to see Dr. Shetty.
In Dr. Sameer Shetty's office, your health is paramount.
No stone is left unturned.
And you will NEVER be treated as if you're just a file number.
You are treated with RESPECT.
You are treated with DIGNITY.

I had a great experience with Dr. Shetty. His receptionist was helpful, very friendly and made me feel welcome when i arrived. The doctor is a great guy, very friendly as well and i could tell he is a genuinely good person. I had not been to see a doctor for several years (thankfully) but as i'm getting a bit older i feel the need to at least get regular checkups and would be glad to come back to see Dr. Shetty from now on. Highly recommended for sure.
