As a psychiatrist, I have the flexibility to use psychotherapy, medications or both to help my clients. I enjoy working with clients of every age and background, but take a special interest in young professionals in their 20s and 30s. I also have experience working with students, both at the undergraduate and graduate level. I can help you work through challenges with school, work, relationships, family and life transitions.
I offer diagnostic evaluation and treatment for several conditions, including depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, trauma and stress-related disorders, substance use, attention issues, and ADHD. My psychotherapy approach is largely psychodynamically based, which means I help clients examine early relationships to uncover patterns in thought and behavior. My hope that, through this analysis, clients may be able to create change and feel more in control of their lives.
I am highly collaborative in my approach, meeting clients where they are in every step of the process. I strive to create a supportive space for clients to heal from past experiences and grow. Change can be difficult, and I commend you for taking the first steps. Let me support you as you continue to build toward a more fulfilling life.
