Dr. Samuel Adegboyega joined the practice in the fall of 2010. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University/New Jersey Institute of technology (NJIT)/UMDNJ in Biology, Pre-Med and Medical Technology. He then pursued his long time goal of becoming a doctor at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he earned a doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He completed his extensive residency training in advanced reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot, trauma surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, South Nassau Communities Hospital, Flushing Hospital, and New York Hospital Queens, an academic affiliate of Weil Medical College of Cornell University and also completed a mini-fellowship course in microsurgery.
Dr. Adegboyega or Dr. Sam as he is known to his patients, Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). During his training, Dr. Sam attended a multitude of conferences, workshops, seminars and meetings focused on foot and ankle care, including biopsy techniques, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, external fixation, diabetic limb salvage, basic and advanced internal fixation, and microsurgery.
Dr. Sam extends his interest into all areas of podiatric care, both conservative as well as surgical especially in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries. He is licensed in both New York and New Jersey and is presently a faculty and clinical instructor at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and in private practice at East Orange, NJ.
Dr. Adegboyega is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center, Lincoln Hospital in NY, East Orange General Hospital, American Surgical Center, and Hudson Crossing Surgical Center. He is a member of American Podiatric Medical Association/American College of Foot Surgeons.
