About Dr. Sana Waseem

Dr. Sana Waseem joined Hamdard in August 2023 with 7 years of experience in direct patient care in Family Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to joining Hamdard, she was an attending physician at Access Community Health Network for 4 years. Before that, she completed her residency in Cincinnati, where she served as Chief Resident and worked extensively with a rural underserved population. Dr. Waseem is fluent in English and Urdu/Hindi and sees patients aged 5 years and older. Her passion for the sciences and dedication to helping underserved communities inspired her to pursue medicine and primary care as her career path. The office itself was hard to find. I basically walked around inside the building until I found the right office. Dr. Waseem is great! She listened to my concerns, offered other solutions I hadn't heard before, and seemed very concerned. The front desk staff were nice, but a bit unprofessional at times. Overall, I'm certainly coming back, and we definitely recommend Dr. Waseem to anyone.

I saw Dr. Waseem for the first time today and she was great. She listened to the issues I was having and gave me multiple options on how to resolve things. Her communication was excellent and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a new doctor. The assistant that took my blood work was also great and the front desk staff were helpful as well.

Great experience with both the doctor and staff. Easy to check-in, efficiently taken through biometric screening and Dr. Waseem was excellent. I really appreciated them being upfront and asking if I was comfortable with a medical student being part of the examination (who was also excellent!) Would recommend for anyone looking for a doctor on the North side.

The staff were very personable and welcoming. Dr. Waseem was attentive and cared about my medical history and questions. When she answered my questions, she made eye contact and had a pleasant demeanor. The nurse (I forgot her name) was kind, professional, and comforting. 10/10!!

Front staff have misinformation about my insurance , but doctor visit was very nice. nurses were kind and communicative throughout the whole process. Med student was also sweet and the doctor was very friendly and helpful.

Dr Waseem was kind, thorough and action-oriented with establishing and explaining next steps for a treatment plan. The staff was kind and professional. I think I found my PCP! Highly recommend Dr Waseem and her team.
