I went in for a consultation regarding my hips. Though Dr. Gidvani specializes in the spine, he was still able to give me a referral and helped me understand my problems. The staff was all extremely kind and professional, the place was very clean.
The main downside was just a very long wait time, but I completely understand it gets busy sometimes.

Sandeep N. Gidvani, MD, is a fellowship trained comprehensive spine surgeon at OrthoNorCal, Inc. Dr. Gidvani was born and raised in the Bay Area, and takes great pride in treating his hometown community.
Dr. Gidvani completed his undergraduate education at University of California at Berkeley where he obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Bioengineering with High Honors. He obtained his medical degree at New York Medical College.
Dr. Gidvani completed his orthopedic residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. During the course of his training, he spent one year as the Michael and Myrtle Backer Research fellow, investigating the biomechanics of the intervertebral disc on a microscopic level. Dr. Gidvani completed his comprehensive fellowship in spine surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles alongside internationally renowned spine surgeons.
Dr. Gidvani combines a humanistic approach to patient care with keen clinical diagnostics to seek out solutions to spinal disease. He treats a wide variety of complex spinal pathology, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar stenosis, instability, spondylolisthesis, scoliosis deformity, myelopathy, degenerative disc disease, trauma, and tumor. While trained in the most modern of minimally invasive techniques as well as traditional spine surgery, he exercises great scrutiny in deciding which patients need surgery and ensuring that they undergo procedures that are best suited for their clinical indications. Additionally, Dr. Gidvani is fluent in Spanish, and can explain diagnoses and treatment options to Spanish-speaking patients.

Questionable procedures: They ask to do an X-ray, before the doctor has even seen the patient. Wanting to make money?
They ask the same questions over and over.
Lots or "red tape“.
Paid a lot for about 5 minutes with the doctor. He himself seems to be very good, but the environment is deplorable.
