Dr. Johar is dedicated to the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of painful conditions throughout the body, which have not resolved in the expected time with routine medical treatment. He is a spine and joint specialists with years of training in treating both acute and chronic pain, including back pain, neck pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, sciatica, and pain from sports injuries.
Dr. Johar performs fluoroscopically-guided epidural injections, facet and sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral joint and trigger point injections
Our medical philosophy centers on a multidisciplinary approach for the prevention and treatment of spine and musculoskeletal injuries. Using this comprehensive approach, we believe that a significant percentage of our patients can improve without surgery.
His main focus is helping patients eliminate pain and restore function with conservative treatments. The primary goal is optimizing function. A broad range of pain conditions is treated through nonsurgical treatment, with approaches including medications, coordination of physical therapy and exercise regimens. He also uses various X-ray-guided therapeutic spinal injections such as facet and medial branch blocks, radio-frequency ablation/neurotomy, epidural steroid injections, and peripheral joint injections.
