Dr. Bhansali earned a bachelor’s degree Magna Cum Laude from Albion College, Albion, Michigan, in 1980, and a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan, in 1984. He completed an internship in General Surgery and a Residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, at Wayne State University School of Medicine Hospitals. Dr. Bhansali completed a fellowship in Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery at Ear Consultants of Michigan in 1991. Dr. Bhansali is Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and Board Certified in the sub-specialty of Neurotology. His practice specializes in evaluation and management of ear and hearing disorders, including patients with otosclerosis, dizziness, acoustic neuromas, chronic ear infections, facial nerve disorders, tumors of the lateral skull base, cochlear implants and other implantable hearing devices, and laser surgery of the ear and skull base. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (1997 Honor Award recipient), the American Neurotology Society, and the North American Skull Base Society. He has served on the Board and on Committees of several organizations, including past-president of the Metro Atlanta Educ. Society for Otolaryngology, Medical Advisor for Atlanta Hears, past-president of American Otolaryngologists of Indian Heritage, Equilibrium Committee for AAO-HNS, and Editorial Board of Otology-Neurotology Journal. Dr. Bhansali was born in India and grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan. He moved to Georgia in 1991 after completing his Neurotolgy Fellowship.
