Pleasant, understanding and thorough. The office can get busy especially during the winter and wait can be long. Nevertheless, I would recommend her. I've seen other doctors and NPs at this practice as well and they have all been good.

Dr. Shah received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. She completed her internship and residency training at Duke University’s Southern Regional Area Health Education Center in North Carolina.
After graduation, Dr. Shah worked at a private practice in Suffern, New York, serving patients with urgent care needs. In 2003, Dr. Shah was recruited by the Miller Institute for Performing Arts to serve the medical needs of the performing arts community in New York City. She practiced at the Miller Institute for the Performing Arts until early 2010, when she joined the Roosevelt Hospital Doctors' Office (RHDO) practice.
She is an attending physician at St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals, and completed her board certification in 1999 (recertified 2006). She is licensed in New York and New Jersey.
Dr. Shah has an appreciation for the arts and has in the past been the “doctor on call” at the New York Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center. She has also served as one of the doctors for the Big Apple Circus for the last four years.
She practices all aspects of primary care, with a particular interest in women’s health, adolescent health, and the special needs of performing artists. She encourages the mind-body connection and balance in wellness pursuits.

Dr. Shah was fast and efficient, got right to the point. However this left her seeming cold and rushed, she did not seem to have interest in seeing if I had any other health issues going on outside of the specific issue I came into the office for.

It was a great visit. Both Doctor Shah and her assistant were extremely friendly. There was practically no wait, I was able to go on my lunch break. I highly recommend her.

Rude, blunt, and cold. I will never visit this doctor again. She spoke down to me from the moment she came into the room and made me highly uncomfortable in a situation that could have used some care.
