Dr. Dawson was great! She was very patient as we figured out how to best balance near and far sightedness with progressive contacts. I had gone to another doctor last year that felt rushed and I ended up with contacts that didn't really work, but the prescription I got from Dr. Dawson as we tried different combinations is great! I've already recommended her.

This was my first time at Eyes on Hudson, as well as my first time seeing Dr. Dawson. Great experience! Beautiful office. Professional and kind people who are really good at what they do. A gem in lower Westchester for sure. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Dawson was born and raised in Western New York State and completed her undergraduate education at SUNY Geneseo. Having always wanted to become an optometrist since childhood, she then went on to graduate from SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan. She and her husband David have lived in Westchester since 2016 and now can’t imagine living anywhere else! Some of her simple joys include running, coffee shops, hiking and laughing with her husband and two little boys.

Dr. Dawson did a fantastic job doing my updated glasses prescription. I am newer to progressive glasses and she helped me find a prescription that is really comfortable for far and close. A beautiful office and no wait!
