A native of Pueblo, CO, Dr. Housman earned a bachelor’s degree in integrative physiology with certificates in neuroscience and leadership from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She then attended Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine right here in Parker, CO for her medical education. While at RVUCOM she spent an additional year studying osteopathy as a pre-doctoral osteopathic principles and practices fellow. She also participated in the Global Medicine Honors Track. Dr. Housman then moved to Maine to complete her residency at Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency. During that time she earned certifications in Chinese acupuncture and integrative medicine to expand her skills and knowledge to help treat her patients.
Dr. Housman is delighted to be back in Colorado for further training in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine. She has a strong interest in optimizing the health of her patients rather than focusing solely on treating disease, and she looks forward to applying her manipulative medicine skills to support health improvement. Her hobbies include soaking up the outdoors, yoga, volleyball, tennis, reading and spending time with her husband and their adorable puppy, Noodles.
