Sarah Kasprowicz, MD has been practicing Dermatology since 2008. Prior to MDA, she was on staff at NorthShore University Health System, where she was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Chicago. Dr. Kasprowicz is originally from Santa Barbara, California; she holds an undergraduate degree from Bates College and a medical degree from Rush Medical College. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and her dermatology residency at Rush University Health System, where she served as Chief Resident. She is Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (board-certified in Dermatology). She is a member of the Chicago Dermatological Society, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Kasprowicz has been an investigator on numerous clinical research trials, authored book chapters in a leading dermatology textbook and co-authored a textbook on integrative dermatology.
Dr. Kasprowicz practices general medical dermatology with clinical interests in oncodermatology, allergic skin disease, women’s dermatology, complementary and alternative medicine in dermatology, and skin cancer screening, prevention and management. She has developed an oncodermatology clinic dedicated to the care of cancer patients, addressing the side effects of radiation and chemotherapy, and the changes seen in the skin during cancer treatment. She has lectured locally and nationally on the topic.
