Awesome visit with Dr. Peterson. She and her nurse are both open-minded, funny, caring, gentle, and real. As a single woman, I'm always afraid of being judged when I walk into a gynecologist's office but they made me feel comfortable and normal.

Sarah Peterson is a caring and concerned OB-GYN serving the communities of Midlothian and Richmond, VA. Dr. Peterson obtained her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Peterson is a part of Richmond OB-GYN and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In her spare time, Dr. Peterson enjoys hiking, yoga, running, gardening, reading, traveling, and most of all spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Peterson enjoys caring for women of all ages, with a particular interest in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. She is an advocate for low-intervention child birth and is supportive of patients wishing to have a vaginal birth after having a cesarean section. She is trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including both laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Dr. Peterson believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health.

Dr. Peterson and her nurse Michelle are both friendly and professional people who seem to care about their patients, listen to them, and follow a customized treatment plan. I was seen right on time, waited less than 5 minutes after seeing the nurse for Doctor Peterson, and she truly listened and made sure the treatment plan was right for me. It was only my first time seeing her, but I felt heard and cared for, and I plan to return.

Dr. Peterson was super friendly (as were all the staff members I interacted with) and I feel like she actually listened to me and cared about what was going on with me (which isn't a thing people get to say about their doctors very often). The appointment moved fast, but was very thorough.

my first visit was pretty good and coming to my second visit my opinion was completely changed, first thing dr sarah peterson was not available in the hospital and no one informed us regarding this.Some other doctor came to see us which we never know him and doesn't know anything about him i have booked an appointment by searching some lady doctor to feel comfort to talk about all the things clearly.As this is my first pregnancy i wanted some comfort in talking all the things clearly which i cant talk to some unknown doctor visiting me in the middle.some of my cousins told there experience that this never happened to them and they suggested me to with only one doctor so that case can be handled clearly by the doctor and even i wanted the same .Totally disappointed with my second appointment.and coming to the wait time for my second visit they took so much time to come and talk to us we have waited for about 40 mins where we were in rush with our daily work.Actually my appointment need to complete in about 40 mins but they took more than 1 hour 40 mins to get things done.Totally disappointed with my second visit.If this is going to happen i need to change to some other lady doctor.
