Dr. Pilarowski is a proud Denver native who attended Northwestern University in Chicago for college and medical school. After an intern year in Indianapolis, she returned home to complete residency at Children's Hospital Colorado. She has been practicing in the Denver metro area since 2002 as a hospitalist and in private practice.
Dr. Pilarowski and her husband, Dave, have two children, Liam and Lydia. She enjoys travel, running, skiing, gardening, and cooking.

For being new to the practice, and never before having seen my child, I felt Dr. Pilarowski was sure quick to judge me, as a parent, and my child's history. Her tone was condescending. I will make a point not to see her in the future, but rather, see the other practitioners at Sapphire Pediatrics who have been more than wonderful the last 3 1/2 years.

I <3 Sapphire Pediatrics! They always get my son in right away and are wonderful to work with. As a first time mom, I have a lot of concerns that come up, I appreciate how all of the doctors and PA's take my concerns seriously but are also reassuring, giving me the confidence I need to parent my baby without worrying. I would recommend Sapphire to anyone!

We try to talk to our kids with respect and dignity, using the same tone and vocabulary we would use with adults. I felt a little bit like Dr Pilarowski was baby-talking or talking down to the kids. Other than that, good visit. I did feel like we were getting canned answers to our questions (like what we would get if we looked them up on the AAP website) instead of realistic, honest feedback.
