She's lovely! Personable, knowledgeable, has a sense of humor - love having her as my doctor. She's a great listener and is willing to consider your ideas, but she also knows her stuff and is good at considering a bunch of factors and options. Highly recommended. Oh - and she's also always on time!

Dr. Etherton seems like one of the nicest doctors ever. She makes you feel comfortable and cared for. She is very easy to talk to and takes time to listen and make sure you understand everything. She is very welcoming and knowledgable. I would recommend Dr. Ether ton very highly!

Dr. Shelby was excellent! She was incredibly thorough, analytical, very friendly, and most importantly, knowledgeable about all the services Fenway Health had to offer! I was able to get a prescription filled and blood work done right on site almost immediately after she'd ordered them. She made it incredibly easy, and even provided me with a printed summary of everything we'd discussed during the appointment.

Everyone was very friendly, professional and welcoming! I'm someone who always dreads going to the doctor and I've finally found one that works for me. I really appreciated that everyone took the time to explain the procedures they were doing, what different things meant (in laymen's terms), and really listened to me. I definitely did not feel rushed or like I was being an inconvenience when I asked questions. I also found it fantastic that on the forms they asked for preferred pronouns. This spoke volumes to me to how they value their patients and want to ensure they're comfortable. Dr. Sarah Shelby Etherton and her team are wonderful and I highly recommend them!!

Because doctor/patient communication is critical to optimal patient care, Dr. Etherton is a rare gem to find when it comes to communicating with her patients. She initiate candid discussions about your prognosis explaining care options with quality of life being an explicit priority. I also have very hard to control hypertension that does not respond well to medication Not only does she evaluate strategies to maximize quality of life for her patients with.Type II Diabetes and Hypertension on an individual basis, she works closely with you to overcome biological mechanisms that makes the disease resistant to available treatments.
Dr. Etherton provides her patients with the education, quality time, accountability, and respect needed to make informed choices about their care. She does this all with an excellent bed-side manner and a sincerely caring nature.

Incredibly rude staff! And the only people who offered help when I passed out IN THE OFFICE were the other patients. Awful. I expect an apology from the staff, and t he doctor, before I even consider returning. Beware, the staff will mock you for having learnING or other disabilities.

I go on my lunch break and I always make it back in time for my hour. Last time I went I had a visit, blood drawn AND got all my prescriptions right there in under an hour. And Sarah is the best doctor I've ever had! Highly recommend the whole experience.

First appointment I had I only had to wait about 5 minutes. This one I had to wait over 30. It's possible she was having an off day, or maybe it's just because I was one of the last appointments so I got the worst of it. Otherwise it went great. She checked out everything I was concerned about and was very thorough and informative.

I've seen Dr. Etherton twice already and she's been very pleasant (and professional) on both occasions.
The only thing I can't quite figure out is whether she's really efficient or if she's trying to rush out the door.

Dr Shelby was not only prompt, but she was an astute listener and she interviewed with a thoughtful conversational style. She was also efficient and handled several complicated issues in one appt, however did not come off as rushed and seems to sincerely enjoy her work and being helpful.
