Top dermatologist I have seen since the 7-8 years of living in NYC. Sari is not only diligent and knowledge like, personable and friendly but genuinely is someone who wants to get to know her patients instead of anyone feeling like a number. She is exquisite and detail oriented on non cosmetic type surgeries or procedures of various types but also highly recommend as a go to for cosmetic injections or procedures. She is top notch. Does not push anything on you. Does not even bring it up unless you inquire and then she will give you an understanding of what xyz helps with. Or what she can do to help fix a vanity concern and make you look glowing again. Honestly a miracle worker. She looks like an intelligent well dressed actor playing a doctor. In this case it's real life.

She earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Pace University’s Physician Assistant Program in Manhattan. She rotated through multiple New York hospitals and medical practices and completed her elective rotation in Plastic Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, assisting in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Sari has extensive training in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She treats many dermatological conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and complex rashes, and performs lesion removals and skin cancer screenings. She has advanced training with injectables, including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Voluma, Belotero, Restylane, and Juvederm, specializing in lip augmentation. She is also experienced in chemical peel, microneedling and laser treatments for acne scars, brown spots, spider veins, and skin tightening. Sari is by far the best dermatologist out there and I have seen many in the past 8 years of living in NYC. So lucky to have found her. She is patient, listens, very observant, remembers everything and isn’t what seems to be the typical doctor who has to look at their chart to remember patients name. She is personable, explains everything to you. Makes you feel comfortable almost as if she’s been a friend of yours for years. Highly highly recommend. She will tell you honest opinion and the best path you should take for whatever the results you are looking to achieve or dermatology type issues you are wanting to find solutions to. Cosmetic or non cosmetic. She has true passion for her job and it’s such a relief to have found someone who listens, examines and recommends without trying to push something not totally necessary for you. As well as not trying to rush you out of office to see next client. You will always leave in a better mood. Even if you just had a biopsy done. Will still walk out with a smile.

Sari has changed my life, and the gratitude I have for her is rooted deep in my heart. Truth be told if I were good at science, I would hands down go into the field so that I could make a difference in peoples lives like she has done for me. But instead, because I'm not good at science, I am going to scream from all of the rooftops and say how amazing Sari is. If you are in a place right now where you are insecure about your skin, I couldn't recommend her enough.
She is dedicated to helping resolve any skin issues you have and see the process all the way through and beyond. She discusses all of your concerns with the most sincere bedside manner, and makes sure you are 100% comfortable with the treatment plan. I always feel like she is taking care of me instead of just telling me what to do. (teamwork makes the dream work!!)
Sari is a big part of my story because I'm finally growing confident in my skin. Acne is hard, and at times the process has seemed like an eternity, but her impact on my life through this process will last forever. THANK YOU SARI!!

Sari was great! Very down to earth. Went for a skin cancer screening and she made me feel comfortable but was very thorough while also explaining everything to me. She asked me if I had any other concerns I wanted to address and we discussed some minor cosmetic procedures for the future. She wasn’t pushy at all and answered all my questions. Sari is truly THE BEST! She doesn't just settle for "good" results, she strives for perfection. Every time I walk into her office I know that I will walk out feeling more beautiful and confident than when I walked in.
Unlike other doctors I have seen, I know that she will always give me her undivided attention. First, she makes me feel so at ease with some light, casual conversation - and she always seems to remember the details of our last conversation which truly amazes me. (I see her once a month so that's a lot of patients in between and sometimes I can't remember what I had for breakfast!!) Then, she gets down to business, studying every little detail of my face. I always feel certain that we are on the same page because she really values my input and takes the time to understand exactly what I'm looking for.
Sari is an absolutely incredible listener with a clear inherent talent. She is very thorough and shes's able to balance her role of being the medical voice of reason while still listening + collaborating with you as the patient. I'm forever grateful to have found her!! & now she is stuck with me for many procedures to come :)

Dr. Sari Katz is one of the best dermatologists in NYC. Dr. Katz has the gift of keeping it simple but being very through at the same time. Her bedside manner is so courteous and engaging to the point you forget you are at the dermatologists office. Sari was wonderful. She was warm, thorough, and wasn’t overly formal. She explained what might be going on, how the treatment plan was connected to my symptoms, and what I needed to go when I went home. I was a first time patient. Id definitely recommend her.
