Very positive first experience. I was first seen by the resident medical staff and then the doctor. I was given plenty of time/room to explain my issues and discuss a path forward. Overall, my experience was positive.

Satyanisth T. Agrawal, DO is the Assistant Professor of Medicine, in the Division of Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases.
Dr. Agrawal earned his Medical Degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, Pennsylvania in 2008. After a one year Internship at Case Western Reserve University, he went on to complete Residency at the University of Southern California in Internal Medicine. After the completion of his Residency, Dr. Agrawal accepted a Gastroenterology Fellowship at West Penn Allegheny Health Systems, Pennsylvania, which he completed in 2014; and subsequently accepted a 2nd Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at the Wisconsin GI Associates – Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI, which he completed in 2015. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology; and is licensed in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Dr. Agrawal joins The GW Medical Faculty Associates from a Private Practice facility in Rockville, Maryland, where he spent two years post Fellowship.
During his career, he has participated in a number of research activities; is published and is experienced in oral presentations nationally.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Agrawal is an amazing doctor! I have been to many doctors over the years and he is one of the few who took the time to listen and validate my concerns. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I barely got to see him. Some other doctor introduced himself and recommended surgery without even examining me. All the questions he asked concerning what he wanted to do surgery on were negative. I felt that the visit was geared toward making money by doing surgery vs addressing the issue I scheduled the visit for.
