I recently moved to Murfreesboro and had been looking for a primary care physician and had been having a hard time finding one that was like my old one that I had gone to for 30 years. Immediately from the front desk, to his nurse, to him I was made to feel comfortable and very welcome. He is very thouragh and takes all the time needed with you. You don't feel rushed to get in and get out.

Professionally treated by both Amber, Dr. Saraswat's nurse, and Dr. Saraswat himself. I have received appropriate referrals for illnesses that require further visits with other specialists, such as in my case, I need to go see a gastroenterologist and a neurologist. And even though Dr. Saraswat does not know yet, I also have a long psychiatric history requiring other help than the current help I am currently getting. The only current problem, but its only a financial problem on me, is that I have to see a psychiatrist to get a diagnosis for bipolar disorder whereas Dr. Saraswat, and I can understand why, does not feel comfortable in diagnosing me with this mental disorder in case I had side effects that could jeopardize his practice, but I have no intention in doing so considering every time in the past I have seen psychiatrists for these following diagnoses: OCD, panic disorder, panic attacks preceded by phobic stimuli, ADHD, seizure disorder, mood disorder, advanced mental atrophy, meningioma, severe depression, and because of these; my memory is worsening by the day, and as I walk from one room to the other; I totally forget why and what I came or was looking for. My grandfather died of Alzheimer's disease, and I do not feel I have time to be playing around, and despite Dr. Saraswat having scheduled an appointment for me to see a neurologist on September 28, 2016, I feel that is too long to find the results of a MRI with or without contrast!! Every time I visited a psychiatrist in the past, and believe me I saw both psychiatrists and psychologists for the aforementioned mental illnesses, and not only that, I received psychotherapy, exposure therapy, behavioral therapy, relaxation therapy, as well as medication therapies. Starting in 1984 as a senior in college, I was put on imipramine for OCD and the panic attacks that were preceded by phobic stimuli or specific phobias as mine were going out of town to start a new semester in college or starting a new job as in starting job training by going out of town or state. And these panic attacks always occurred in situations whereby I was not only out of town, but I was in a situation whereby I was learning new 'skills' such as one would when starting a new semester/quarter or when starting job training for a new job. After quitting 2 quarters, (1 quarter=10 weeks as 1 semester=15 weeks; 3 quarters=2 semesters), and already completing all but 32 quarter hours of the requirements to graduate with a bachelor's with High Honors from The University of Tennessee as well as being initiated into the top 10% of my Senior Class in November 1984(but with the mental illnesses listed, my career earnings are only about $85,000 whereas one earning the median salary annually of a bachelor's degree(no higher), would be about $57,000 per year, and if you multiply that number by 30 years(which would by current age of 54-24, the age I earned my bachelor's degree), one would get total career earnings of (57,000x30=1,710,000). And if you subtract the difference between what the median salary of one whom earned a bachelor's degree, and no higher, and worked for 30 years, you would get $1,710,000; and my career earnings due to panic attacks I had during job training usually 1-3 days into the start, and the only jobs I was able to hold were two: one, working for my Dad's business, which was not out of town, which he also knew about my diseases. And for four years, I owned my own lawn care/landscaping business, which significantly reduced my earnings. The only real time I used my degree was making over 6 figures via investing in no load mutual funds for my parents' long-term financial investments(over $300,000), but for myself, net income has been $0 since 2001, and net worth is negative. Overall, both Dr. Saraswat and Amber have been courteous and professional in my few visits so far. To comment more as I've said probably too much, which I'm sorry if I have, as my ADHD contributes to my talkative nature in writing and talking. Respectfully and I would recommend him to others looking to see one for internal medicine. John C.

I had an all around great experience. I arrived at my 12:30 appointment, was greeted with a smile, and waited around five minutes. Dr. Saraswat took his time to examine me and discuss the changes I need to make for my health. It was a very pleasant experience and I will be going back!! I didn't feel judged and I felt that the whole staff genuinely cared for their patients. Highly recommended.

I really apreseated the time the Dr. Spent going over any and all issues but his follow thru was not professional. I was told that my prescriptions would be ready at a specific time and had to make multiple calls to get this completed.

I like the location of the office, the personnel and the quality of care my husband is receiving. Dr. Saraswat saw my husband in the hospital and we liked him so much, we made him the primary care physician.

I think Dr. Saraswat is a refreshing physician. He is honest and kind. He discusses every issue and makes plans. He does not jump to a conclusion and he considers the feelings of his patients and spends time w/ them. He is great and I am glad he is my primary physician. I highly recommend him.
