Dr Julka was so nice and answered all my questions and made sure to do a thorough interview with me before prescribing medication. She did not need referrals as other user stated and the entire appointment was quick and easy. I also had insurance issues which she was very understanding about. Great doctor!

Dr Julka is a very nice dr. But while I was in her office for my appointment she was on the phone for about 15 minutes talking to someone else regarding a whole other patient. I just felt like my issues weren't as important as the person she was talking to. I just feel she should have waited until my appointment was over OR she shouldn't of called me into her office if she had to take that phone call. Also, the meds she prescribed me weren't effective and I will have to see another dr.

Savinder Julka is a thorough and careful internist working in Dundalk, MD. She received her medical degree from Ravindra Nath Tangore Medical College in India before moving to the U.S. to complete a residency at Prince George’s Hospital Center. She is Board-certified in internal medicine.

Poor management. The office was not clean at all. The wait hour was so long and the lady in the front was rude and talked on the phone with relatives of hers right in the open. Also, the doctor would have other patients information laid out in the open.

Not sure what the issue was here. Office was not accepting insurance, just cash for visits. I was unable to get reimbursement for my visit because the staff did not ever bill my insurance. So I paid cash out of pocket and it's gone forever.
However, Dr. Julka is very nice and seems very competent. I wish her all the best in straightening out whatever problems her office is having.

The first time I went to Dr Julka it was fantastic. My follow up appointment was appalling. Mostly due to her front desk staff. I am in the medical field and have never been treated with such disrespect and plain rudeness. Not impressed. Waste of my time and would recommend a better professional office.

She was very understanding and sweet. She refilled my medications without needing a referal as someone else had mentioned was an issue. The facility could be cleaner and better stocked but Dr.Julka was efficient. I am a satisfied patient.

She wasn't welcoming at all. She made me feel uncomfortable and irrelevant. She did not take time to listen or even act as if she cared. I have had the same PCP for 14 years and because of transportation issues and physical disability I had to switch. She was the closest doc to me however what a mistake. She has had 3 months to obtain my medical records however I knew she has not reviewed them. She suggests that I get a therapist to tell her if I need a medication I have been taking for 6 years, which a therapist is nit qualified to do. I was refused a referral and told to find my own specialist who will not see me without a referral when another person in the office with me received a referral for the same thing without hesitation. I look on zoc doc and see numerous openings for appointments however I call for an appointment which oh s kind of urgent and I get booked a month away. Needles to say I told rather crawl 20 miles to see a doc than ever see this one again. I am currently going through my options as zoo doc does not have all providers in my network but they have this one. Wow, if your looking for concern, care, warmth, kindness and someone who took the docs oath... I would st do your homework because I feel like I was judged and discriminated against by a professional who has never met me for more than 5 mins twice and doesn't know my story which
only made things worse for me as I am already depressed with things going on in my life but I'm not a liar or unworthy of being treated with dignity. So now here I go again looking for another pcp.

My new patient exam was thorough. The doctor was very attentive and she took time to ask about my medical history and get to know my concerns. Overall, she was a very pleasant person to talk to and listened to the patient's concerns.

She is a sweet doctor however she could listen a bit more. Certain issues and try to make her pts feel more trustworthy. She seems concerned and is good with making referrals however I felt a little rushed when she continued to ask me anything else, anything else, anything else for the 5th time. She recommended I call the back of my card and get information about a specialist when I thought that was her job so I felt disregarded in that aspect when the person I was with asked the same thing during their appt and received a referral. I don't feel discriminated against but I feel it wasn't fair. I also have done everything she asks of me along with communicate all my medical conditions, medications and other issues and she tells me to have a therapist write her a letter in regards to whether or not I need my medication. I am on a waiting list to see a psychiatrist which is the one qualified to discuss my medical needs mentally and emotionally. I understand the therapist can make a suggestion and some can diagnose but they aren't able to prescribe medication nor influence or decide whether or not I need it. The therapist hasn't lived my life and isn't with me on a daily basis to determine my needs for medicine, I was under the impression that the therapist is supposed to help me deal with my depression and emotional issues while the psychiatrist is the one who determines which medications I should try or even if I can function without them. I understand the therapist and psychiatrist are a part of a multi disciplinary approach and I'm more than willing however if she would have listened a bit better she would have heard that I was with one doctor for 13 yrs and I have tried a number of medications which did not work until I found something that did work and although I'm always going to have certain issues that No medication can cure, I'm am able to at least function somewhat. Now I have to go through this with a new doctor all over again. What is the purpose of getting medical records if you're only going to ignore them. There is no competition between doctors is there because honestly if I had transportation, I would still have the same doctor. She is ok however I'm not sure she is the right fit for me.

Dr.Savinder Julka is NOT a dermatologist! Please fix your website ZocDocs.com! It could have saved me time and gas driving to a place that is not what I was looking for.
Other than Dr. Savinder was a very kind woman.
