I am a Board Certified Gastroenterologist and Internist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive tract and liver. I also address all aspects of nutrition, including weight loss management. My goal is to provide individual attention to each patient and their concerns.
I perform colonoscopies, endoscopies, capsule endoscopies, hemorrhoidal banding, and liver biopsies as part of my practice.
I completed my Bachelor's degree at Johns Hopkins University, earned my Doctor of Medicine from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, completed my Residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical College, and pursued a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Winthrop-University Hospital.
I am the Chief of Gastroenterology at New Bridge Health (formerly Bergen Regional Medical Center), New Jersey's largest hospital. I am also a Clinical Assistant Professor at three different area medical schools.
My office is located inside New Bridge Medical Center, a large hospital off Oradell and Farview Avenues in Paramus. “Sorbello Road, Paramus” is the address that works best in GPS systems. Upon arrival, enter through the main entrance and proceed to the first set of elevators on the right. Take them to the second floor, where the “physician private suites” are located on the right.
There are some forms to complete upon arrival unless you prefer to prepare them in advance on Zocdoc. Please bring a copy of your insurance card, any necessary referrals, and a driver's license. Office co-payments, if required, are accepted in cash or check only.
