Dr. Scott Yates earned his BS in Biology from the State University of New York (Albany) in 1975 and his DPM from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1979. He later completed his Podiatric Residency training at Jewish Memorial Hospital (New York) in 1980, and a Podiatric Fellowship in Rheumatology at St. Vincent Hospital (Worcester, MA) in 1981.
Dr. Yates has been an active member of the MGH Podiatry Service since 1983, and he is a faculty member of the MGH Podiatric Residency Program. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

This visit was to receive custom orthotics that Dr Yates had cast for me (I'm an ultra marathoner). As usual, he checked my feet and ankles first. The orthotics fit well- not surprising as his attention to detail is very high.
