It was anot hour wair, but they were training new staff so I understood. Dr. Dar was awesome. Personable, thorough, kind, answered all of my questions, made me feel at ease. Highly recommend!

Her wait times may be more but that's because she is always swamped with patients owing to her excellent skills. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows her stuff well. I would definitely recommend her to all.

We welcome all new patients but **we require them to fill-out the check-in forms on ZocDoc prior to their visit with the practice.**
Dr. Dar is an outstanding physician who has served as Chief of Medicine at Northeast Baptist Hospital and was instrumental in the founding of the Theda Oaks Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art surgical facility providing care for a wide range of digestive ailments and pain management procedures.
Dr. Dar received her Medical degree from University of Kashmir India. She continued her Internal Medicine Training at Texas Tech University Lubbock Texas. This was followed by Fellowship training in Gastroenterology which is specialization in digestive diseases Including special focus on Colon Cancer, Liver and Pancreatic diseases. Dr. Dar is Board Certified both in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Dar is Board Certified both in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and a Fellow of American College of Gastroenterology. She moved to San Antonio and established a Gastroenterology Private Practice in 1997. In her free time she enjoys Horse back riding, reading and gardening.

I was very pleased with the whole office experience. The nurse that took care of me was very efficient and pleasant. I had about 2 mins wait after the nurse left before the doctor came in. She did a good exam and her personality was delightful. She knew what she was talking about and presented the info so it was very easy to understand.
