My visit was seamless. There was no wait time and Dr. Shah is very astute and caring. She has an excellent bedside manner.

This is my first visit to this doctor and I say it is pretty good. I thought there would be long waiting time and due to my work-hours conflict, I wanted to re-schedule my appointment after reaching the office. But they were very considerate and done the process soon and my visit got done in an hour. Overall, I'm satisfied with the visit.

Dr. Sejal Shah is a medical retinal specialist, skilled in managing and treating vitreoretinal pathology including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, venous occlusive disease, and peripheral retinal pathology.
Dr. Sejal Shah completed her undergraduate degree in an honors program from the University of Florida. She went on to obtain her medical degree and a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Shah completed a medical retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Her research interests have included techniques of anti-VEGF intravitreal injections, optic pit maculopathy, and graft-verses-host disease. She has made multiple presentation to the West Coast of Florida Regional Ophthalmology, meeting on topics such as white dot mystery, keratoprosthesis and glaucoma, neovascular glaucoma, and neuroretinitis. Her research has appeared in publications such as Clinical Ocular Oncology, Survey of Ophthalmology, International Ophthalmology Clinics and Survey of Ophthalmology.

The wait to see Dr. Shah was a little longer than a usual visit to my primary care doctor but it was worth it! Dr. Shah was wonderful - she was gentle, very nice and knowledgeable. She answered every one of my questions and made me feel less anxious about my in office laser surgery. Highly recommend her!

From the moment I walked in I was welcomed with a warm front desk. Almost immediately I was taken to get my vision checked. The technician was very informative and knowledgeable in what she was doing. Every technician that I saw was gentle and explained very well what it was that they were going to do. The doctor herself was very sweet and took the time to explain what was going on with my eye. This was the most pleasant Doctors appointment I have ever been to.
