Dr. Ozkan earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. She completed an ocular disease externship at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, even as young as 6 months old.
Dr. Ozkan is a member of the American Optometric Association, Optometric Physicians of Washington and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, where she volunteers her skills and expertise both locally and abroad.

My visit with Selin Ozkan was one of the easiest most pleasant experiences I've ever had with any sort of doctor. I am so happy I found this office and I will absolutely continue to go there and recommend it to anyone looking for an eye doctor. Everyone I spoke to was very nice, they didn't make me wait in the slightest, the office was clean and modern, and Selin in particular was exceptional. I loved that we could do a quick retinal scan rather than use drops to dilate my eyes.

I knew Dr. Ozkan's office cared about my needs days before I even entered the office. I was called a few days prior to check-in with me regarding any concerns I had or discomfort I had noticed with my vision. When I entered I was greeted by multiple staff and felt instantly welcomed. Most of my paperwork was filled in online (which saved time) but any additional information needed was quickly noted. Upon meeting the Dr. I found her to be very friendly and open about each procedure and step of the process. She was appropriately engaged in me (asked insightful and non-intrusive questions about my life) and my medical history. I enjoyed that she shared the images she took of my retina, it was gross but exciting at the same time. Overall, very impressed. Too bad I don't need glasses or I'd be looking forward to going back!
