He was so nice. It was a little on the pricey side, but if you have insurance I would definitely recommend him. The bedside manner was great although I wish he listened to me a little more when I knew the symptoms of my allergy. He kept cutting me off and testing me for things where I knew it wasn't an issue. The nurses definitely listened and put it everything that I said down so I'm happy about it. Oh and if you get blood work it's a lot of blood!

Dr. Seshagiri Rao has been practicing in the Dallas area for nearly thirty years. In 1981, he moved to Dallas from Detroit, where he finished his Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Wayne State University program. Prior to that, he obtained his training in Pediatrics in New York City at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center, where he served as the Chief Resident.
Shortly after moving to Texas, he established a solo practice as an Allergist and Immunologist in the suburb of Garland. Eventually, he opened a satellite office in Carrolton, moved his main office to Richardson and later to Plano. In 2009, he moved into a brand new facility in Plano conveniently located near the Dallas Tollway and the President George Bush Turnpike, with easy access to all Dallas suburbs.
Dr. Rao is board certified in Pediatrics as well as Allergy and Immunology. His practice focuses on allergy induced diseases such as asthma, hay fever, urticaria, atopic dermatitis (eczema), contact dermatitis, insect allergy, and food and drug sensitivities. He also treats immune deficiencies. For more than ten years he has cared for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders using a combination of traditional and alternative medical approaches.
He lives in the North Dallas area with his family. He is actively involved in several community activities, such as teaching Sunday school, volunteering with the homeless, visiting the elderly in nursing homes, and cleaning up local parks. He is passionate about nature conservation and protecting wildlife. In this connection, he has traveled to remote forests in Africa, Asia, Central and South America.

Dr. R and his staff are excellent. Dr. R is very generous with his patients, spending all the time necessary and going the extra mile. He really cares. The office is very busy because they have a lot of patients to accommodate and they try to help everyone. They are easy to work with and listen to each patient's concerns.
