She really helped my child sort out medication from another psychologist that wasn't prescribing the right ones and extremely supportive. I highly recommend this psychologist. She was wonderful and helped me, as a mother, feel less worried.

Having spent the early part of my life in many different countries I am an open-minded psychiatrist who has been exposed to many different cultures, languages, and clinical scenarios.
I trained in a city hospital for my child fellowship at Downstate and was exposed to all populations of children where the fellowship fostered initiative and independence; these skills have been invaluable to me in my day to day care in the Cohen Children ‘s medical center where I’m an attending on staff.
Realizing that patients with mental illness often have difficulty managing their medical problems I have also done a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital
My special interests include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, anxiety, mental illness in the medically ill; and cross cultural psychiatry. I see patients for medication management for ages 5 through adulthood and refer to psychologists for psychotherapy.
In addition to my private practice, I am on staff at Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
I am very dedicated to my patient's and strive to accomplish positive long term, interpersonal relationships with them and their families to achieve best possible outcomes.
I offer sliding scale fees based on patient’s needs. I will gladly assist with insurance claim submission.
