Shani Saks is a dedicated and diligent cardiologist serving the community of Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Saks attended Michigan State University, where she received her medical degree, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. She went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology at the same institution.
Dr. Saks is a part of Arizona Heart Institute. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr Saks MA is very kind to me, thorough, and efficient. Dr. Saks herself has always gone above and beyond to help me. When my insurance denied my angiogram, she advocated for me.

The office staff was pleasant, prepared and very professional. Her PA was ready for an EKG. Dr Saks was thorough, asking many questions and what I needed to know to continue. She ordered further testing to be done right in their office when approved and will follow up at that same time.

Dr. Saks takes a personal interest in her patients! She listens carefully and does not rush her patients! What is wonderful about her practice is that she (dependent upon one’s insurance) can immediately order a test (for exam, echo or stress test) and have it immediately run that day! (AZ Heart Institute is a comprehensive cardiological hospital and a real time and aggrevation saver!) She is eminently qualified and is a world class cardiologist for both male and female patients! She even calls personally on emergency situations! She is the best heart doc in Phoenix!
