Shannon was amazing! I had a back spasm due to a childhood injury resulting in a herniated disc and she definitely worked her magic. I'm finally able to start working out again and get back into my normal routine.

I've been seeing Dr. Connolly for a couple months and have had wonderful success with her treatment. My pain has decreased, I sleep better and I'm able to excersise again! I recommend Dr. Connolly and the rest of the staff at Downtown Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. They treat you with kindness and care. 5 stars!

Dr. Shannon Connolly graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. She also was a member of the top 10 Big East Division I field hockey team while at Syracuse. Her interest in sports and performance led her to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the New York Chiropractic College with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition. She also is a member of the Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Honors Society. While in chiropractic school, she concentrated on sports medicine, rehabilitation, and nutrition.
Dr. Connolly has certifications in RockTape (performance and postural taping), FAKTR (instrument assisted soft tissue), and Webster Technique (prenatal care).
She currently works within Sage Wellness on Tuesday and Fridays with Debbie Valentin, a licensed acupuncturist. She is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine and treats many conditions relating to women's health, such as fertility, headaches/migraines, anxiety, chronic pain, and much more! We work together to give the best quality and all rounded treatment to our patients.

I had a little wait but the health technician let me know it would be ten minutes; I appreciated the communication. Dr. Connolly was running around busy but very apologetic and still attentive so I don't think it's normal for her to be back and forth between patients that awkwardly. I am going back for a followup Friday and looking forward to it because for my first chiropractic visit, it did wonders to ease the pain in my neck.

My visit with Dr. Shannon was amazing. I went because my left shoulder and side of my neck has been bothering me for a while. The office was clean and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Shannon was very thorough. She asked me key questions about my lifestyle and perforned some tests to determine range of motion and strength. Dr. Shannon then did some shoulder rotations and stretched me out. It felt so good I swear I almost started purring. Lol. She loosened my neck and suggested taking some X-rays.
Then she led me to a recreational room that looked to have state of the art equipment. She put me on a stimulator and then on a transformer that released tension in my neck. My visit left me feeling looser and more energized than I've felt in a while. My Chi is moving through the left side of my body again. Yay! I plan to go back a couple of times a week for the next few weeks. Thank you Dr. Shannon!

Shannon was great! This is my first time seeing a chiropractor so I was already nervous about what was causing me pain in the first place. Shannon was friendly and open about what I could do to treat my pain. I showed up very early but she was still able to see me which I really appreciated. I would recommend Shannon and her entire team to anyone looking for a fun but professional Chiro practise. I actually find myself eager to go back for more (not more pain) Chiro.
