One of the most prompt doctor's appointments I've ever had. Dr. Stephenson was warm, really helpful in answering questions, and putting together a plan of attack for my migraines!

Arrived 15 minutes early. Saw the DR. about 15-20 minutes after my appointment time. The assistant was very unprofessional and did not have a very welcoming demeanor. While in the waiting room she came in and out the room and kept slamming the door. Thanks to Dr.Sharisse I would consider visiting this practice again. Her assistant attitude would definitely give her a negative look.

When you need care for a neurological disorder, the compassionate approach Dr. Stephenson takes can make an important difference. A graduate of Columbia University, Dr. Stephenson received her master’s degree from UT Arlington and her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She has postgraduate training in neurological disorders and stroke management from Tufts University in Boston and has particular interest in the treatment of migraines, multiple sclerosis and movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Stephenson provides Botox treatments for chronic migraines and EMG/NCV for Neuropathy. Dr. Stephenson says, “I believe the most important diagnostic tool is listening.”

I was nervous before the appointment because I have Lupus and now I'm having neurological issues however the doctor was very thorough very professional and very knowledgeable in regard to my situation I left the office feeling like someone was actually going to find out what was wrong with me and I wasn't actually going crazy. Her treatment of her patients is very "down to earth". She made me feel comfortable and like she knows how to talk to people no matter where they came from. I didn't feel judged with her because I'm very low income on total Social Security disability. I was really surprised to see how she is not above talking to the secretary at the front, and she sat down and started working on the computer like she was secretary too.

Her staff was friendly and accommodating. The visit itself along with various testing was for several hours not for the time frame that had been previously discussed by phone. Also with the type of tests that were performed I should have been advised to have a driver and not to drive myself.

Too far to me to travel to have went in for one thing, came out with prescription for something not really related to what was really bothering me. At one time I felt like I was just a test dumby while one of the dr's assistants who seemed to be like only 20 experimented on me. Went to get MRI's as suggested, but had to call back numerous times before receiving status of reports to be told it was normal with no details as to what was normal before I had to ask. Better administration and communication would have resulted in my confidence in a follow up with this Dr.

My recent visit to Dr. Sharisse Stephenson was great! The staff made me feel confortable. They were all courteous, friendly and very professional. I was told what was going to happen and what to expect with my EMG diagnosis. Office was clean. I especially liked my conversation with Dr. Stephenson, here diagnosis and treatment and recommendations. I would suggest Dr. Stephenson and her staff to anyone!

I found myself to be very pleased with my experience with Dr. Stephenson and her entire staff. If I were to give the experience a grade it would be an A+! I would recommend anyone in need of any neurologist to go to Dr. Stephenson. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to sit with you and discuss all options available... which as I am sure you know can be very beneficial for your overall well being. I asked for a new patient form to be sent to me before the appointment. It was never sent. I filled out the form in the office then a woman asked almost all the same questions and typed the answers into a computer. That was a waste our time.
Dr. Stephenson and her professional assistants were all pleasant. They seemed knowledgeable and good at their jobs.

Dr. Stephenson showed genuine concern for me and I felt she was knowledgeable to diagnose my situation. She was patient when answering my questions, and I asked many questions. She did not push me out of the office to run to the next patient like some doctors do. I felt comfortable and confident in her professional treatment and couse of action to take.
Her staff showed great rapport. They were professional, courteous, and prompt. They seem to be well trained and are very polite.
