I was a new patient with an appointment to see Dr. Sharon Sra. I followed some google map directions that weren't an exact match to the doctor's office but I called the reception to get a better idea of their location. Once I learned that they were located in the Lincoln Heights Shopping Center next to an HEB (corner of Broadway and E. Basse Rd.) I was able to double back in time for my 10:00 AM appointment. I was pleased with the service that I received.

Dr. Sra grew up in Houston, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in biology at Baylor University and her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed her internship in general surgery and internal medicine
followed by a research fellowship in corneal-related diseases with an emphasis on dry eye disease and ocular allergies. Dr. Sra completed her residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and is board certified by the
American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Sra has published several articles in ophthalmology journals, co-authored book chapters
on immune-related diseases of the eye and has made several scientific presentations at local and national meetings. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Ophthalmological
Association and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Sra was late to the office for our appointment. They could not work the credit card machine, took down my card number and overbilled me later. It was very difficult to fill my contacts prescription through the office, and even more difficult to speak to a human when I called the office to ask about the status of my contacts. Overall, a bad experience and I would not recommend this doctor or office.

Dr. Sra was very helpful. I would ask her a question and she had an answer for me. I went to another doctor for ages and would wait 3 hours before I left the office. I was gone within an hour from Dr. Sra's office and I had my eyes dilated. Very impressed with her.
