Dr. Mc Manus is very knowledgeable, he listens to you, and takes the time to answer your questions. He has been our family Dr. for 2 years and I always feel like he isn't just guessing at our health concerns but is really trying to figure them out and give us options for the best care.

Dr. Shawn McManus was born in Alpine, Utah and graduated from American Fork High School. After graduation he attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2001. He then received his Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, Kirksville, Missouri in 2004. He graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri in 2008. He then completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine where he was chief resident. Dr. McManus is married and has 5 great kids. He enjoys family activities along with water and snow skiing. He loves sports especially college football and he is an avid BYU football fan. Dr. McManus’ office is located in Saratoga Springs and he is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. McManus really listens. I have never had a primary care physician that was so attentive. He not only listens but he understands and presents a clear path to resolving problems.
I hope that I never have to change primary care physicians again. Dr. McManus is the best.

I was really disappointed with my appointment this time. The staff and nurses are amazing! The doctor then treated my daughter and figured out why she was sick. I just was really upset when I asked him a question about her stomach problems he proceeded to tell me I was only in a 7 minute time slot. He still helped us. But make me feel that he didn't have time for us really upset me! This was very unprofessional and frankly rude! Doctors need to remember we are not cattle. We are people we come for help and pay for help. A kind hand and kind words would be nice. Especially with people that are sick or to a parent of a sick child. We are still deciding if we are going to come back or not. We may try to find someone else that values our health and well being.

Dr. McManus is a very considerate and well educated. He explains what he is doing and what he thinks is the prognosis. I like him a lot and I enjoy going to his office which is very convenient for where I live.

My wife and I have had many doctors over the years. We where looking for a new doctor in our area when we came across Dr. McManus. He is now our family doctor and we have going to him for 3+ years. He is the best doctor we have ever had and probably the best bedside manner of any doctor. He answers questions in English so that you can understand . I hate rating him so high because it means more patients and longer wait times to see him. He is the Best in my opinion! Go Cardinals!

Doc McManus has always been great to me and is very cordial and caring. It's remarkable how quickly he is able to see me, spend quality time with me (I don't care about quantity time) and gives me what I need. He genuinely cares about my well-being and is knowledgeable. Doctor McManus always listens to what I have to say and validates remedies I do at home with a holistic approach. He supports me in these endeavors instead of casting off holistic approaches as "fake" or "invalid." I highly recommend Doctor McManus.
