This place was sketchy and didn’t look or feel like a doctor’s office

I scheduled an in-office visit for the MD location, but when I arrived the door was locked with a note to call her VA office. Her staff notified me that the appointment would be virtual since she was traveling and suggested that I take the call from the hallway. I was obviously upset since I would have appreciated a courtesy to let me know that she wouldn’t be in the office, but was distributed that her staff would suggest that I take a video call in public while sharing personal health information.
Dr. Jahan was pleasant and diagnosed my condition within 10 minutes, but made a very inappropriate comment about my medical history that made the visit even more frustrating. I would not recommend her practice unless you have no other viable alternatives.

Mixed at best. I was informed by email an hour before the appointment that it would be a virtual appointment rather than an in-person appointment. I had scheduled the appointment far in advance based on it being an in-person appointment. After a cursory discussion with the doctor, I was asked if I would be receptive to being prescribed a medication that I found inappropriate given the little time we interacted.

Dr. Jahan is an extremely intelligent and intuitive neurologist. She listens very carefully and asks great questions. Her empathy is genuine and reassuring.
She understands the workings of various insurance and works within the rules to provide the best care with a minimum of effort for the patient. Her office staff are sometimes a little disorganized, but they always get things straight within a few minutes once the problem is identified.

The facility is a bit of a crazy place. Looks like someone’s apartment. I didn’t feel very comfortable the entire time. The computer wasn’t working for awhile. The computer looks like it still uses dial up. The machine was cleaned using a giant bottle of alcohol that the doctor dabbed a paper towel with. The machine looked used and out of the Soviet Union. If someone were to asked me to go here I would say no.

Dr.Jahan is the one of the nicest and most honest doctors I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Today she still didn't know what the cause of my nerve pain was and she promptly began another test instead of making me schedule it for another time.

Me with getting started on something new
To help with my migraines. My only issue was that the pharmacy was unable to reach her to get additional information for a prior auth so I could get the Med so after a few months I still don’t have it and I’m not feeling great yet. But as for the appointment it was really great and I look forward to seeing her again to follow up.
