Really great visit with Dr. Elenburg. Helpful team from the front office to the nurses. She took generous time to explain results, options, and recommendations. She did all of that without putting any pressure on me to come back for more tests. One of the more pleasant medical experiences I've had in DC.

I came to Dr. Shelby and her team for an allergy test. My visit, including two rounds of testing and a consultation with Dr. Shelby, was completed in less than an hour. Both Dr. Shelby and the nurse who conducted the tests were warm, thorough, and fast - the testing was done quickly, and I felt well-informed through out the process. Dr. Shelby provided a quick examination after the testing and though my results were negative she talked through potential options with me. The check-in process was also easy and quick! Would highly recommend Dr. Shelby and her team!

Accidentally showed up an hour early for my appointment and they still saw me within 15 minutes. Bedside manner of the staff was excellent and they spent the time to diagnose my health issue, which has bothered me over 5 years and across 5 different specialists.

Was great, got all my allergy tests out of the way that day! Very professional, had to wait a few minutes but was taken into the Ron shortly and asked a few questions. When hearing I wanted testing, they proceeded to test me for everything as I had asked. Was such a thorough doctor appointment and I’m bringing my family here to be tested as well! They followed up with explanations of my allergies and how to avoid having reactions. 9/10 experience and would go back again.

They didn’t accept my insurance which was given prior to showing up to my appt. They should have informed me before coming to the office and filling out paper work. They also need to update Zocdoc and their website because it states they take my insurance.

Dr Shelby was awesome! She was very attentive and thorough. I was with either her or the nurse for an hour, receiving very personalized attention. I have been putting off seeing an allergist for years, and I wish I'd found her earlier. She answered all of my questions and was easy to talk to.
My only complaint is pretty minor: their rooms aren't very private. I was in the front and everytime the door opened, those in the waiting room could see in, which was uncomfortable when I was in a gown lying on the table. The walls are also large windows with frosted glass, so it doesn't feel too private.

Shelby helped me so much with my asthma and allergies. Since seeing her I've felt so much better. She found a diagnosis quickly and easily and immediately got me on helpful treatment. Her staff is friendly as well and made me about as comfortable as someone can be while being stabbed with 96 needles. I would recommend her to anyone who asks.

It is a special kind of doctor that can stab you in the back 59 times and still maintain your trust. I can't say enough about how thoughtful, kind, caring, and willing to listen Dr. Shelby is. She took lots of time to talk through strategies to avoid my allergy triggers and gave me a clear plan to start managing my symptoms. I felt very cared for in her office. The office staff is quick and efficient, and everyone working around the office are just on it.
