Dr. Manspeizer see patients for general Orthopedics. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He received his undergraduate training at the City College of New York and was Phi Beta Kappa. He did his internship at the Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn. He then did his year of general surgery, orthopaedic training and residency at the Albert Einstein College Hospital of Medicine in the Bronx.
During his residency, Dr. Manspeizer spent time in the public health service. He was involved with the drug efficacy study and was involved in the field of metabolic diseases, analgesics as well as arthritis. He worked with a group of nine other doctors to establish the basic principles for evaluating drug efficacy. During his residency he spent one year doing research and published in the field of proliferative studies of bone and cartilage. He worked with a biologist, Dr. Edward Tonna at the Brook Haven Laboratories.
Dr. Manspeizer is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is an assistant clinical professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is an active member of the teaching faculty at Montefiore Medical Center. He is also affiliated with Montefiore North Division and White Plains Hospital Center.
Dr. Manspeizer prides himself on offering his patients the latest in orthopaedic innovations. His able to perform hip and knee replacements as well as arthroscopic surgery of knees and shoulders.
