Dr. Dunson-Allen is awesome! She is very thorough and straight forward. In my case, she discussed in detail my diagnosis and options to treat it. She made sure I was well informed.

Our first visit.. The wait time was terribly long more than a hour and half after our appointment time. No apology or information from the wait staff or the Doctor.
Other than that, we really liked Dr. Shelley. She was friendly, patient, informative and helpful. We will definitely return if the wait time is not an issue.

Dr. Shelley Dunson Allen is a board certified OB/GYN physician and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She attended Harvard Medical School and completed her internship and residency at Emory University in 1993. She has served as an associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Morehouse School of Medicine and as a Clinical Instructor at Emory University Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics teaching resident physicians and medical students. Dr. Dunson Allen has been in private practice in metro Atlanta since 1996. Dr. Dunson Allen has been in practice in North Fulton County since 2001 and founded Providence Womens Healthcare in 2008. Dr. Dunson Allen currently serves as Chairperson of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and on the Medical Executive Committee at North Fulton Regional Hospital. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia OB/GYN Society.
Dr. Dunson Allen is on active staff at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and North Fulton Hospital and has courtesy privileges at Northside Hospital.
Dr. Dunson Allen has a special interest in management of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding disorders, uterine fibroids, contraceptive management and Robotic Laparoscopic/ Minimally invasive surgery.

She was wonderful, kind and helped with all the information I needed. She is my preferred gyno now. It was my first visit and Dr. Dunson-Allen made me feel like she had been my doctor for years. I didn't feel rushed at all. The office was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming.
