Great office and doctor. I actually saw the doctor and not just a "nurse". I went in not feeling so great and he took some samples to be tested. I have to get some blood work done not sure why they couldn't take it in the office. They are having me go to a Bioreference which I found strange but I didn't ask. Well definitely be following up with Dr.Lin.

Dr. Shen-Han Lin is a caring and warm family physician serving the community of Flushing, NY. Dr. Lin attended the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his medical degree. His completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in family medicine at Peninsula Hospital. Dr. Lin is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Chinese American Independent Practice Association. Dr. Lin has over 11 years of diverse experience which he has served veterans at the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center and intellectual disability at Access Community Health Center. Dr. Lin was the hospitalist of the Department of Family Medicine at Nassau University Medical Center. Patients see Dr. Lin for a variety of reasons, including physical exams, well child care, routine immunizations, school physicals, Diagnostic and preventive screenings (including vision, hearing, allergy, blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, cancer, and lung disease), acute illness, injury requiring medical care, chronic medical conditions (hypertension, diabetes, coronary artery disease, COPD, asthma, high cholesterol), sport medicine (exercise prescriptions and pre-participation exams), women’s health care (routine breast exams, pelvic exams, pap smears), family planning, geriatric care, sick child evaluation, nutritional and dietary counseling, individual and family counseling. He speaks English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese fluently, which makes him widely accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Dr. Lin is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient's situation and adapts his consultations and treatment options appropriately to accommodate individual needs and concerns.

My visit to Dr. Shen was very last minute, but a very positive experience. I came down with a very serious stomach virus about 3 days ago. I wanted to wait it out, but the pain was unbearable. I booked an appointment with Dr. Shen an hour before and everything was effortless. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, the office and waiting room was spotless, and Dr. Shen was very meticulous and friendly. He prescribed me what I needed and was in and out within an hour. Will definitely be back whenever I am in need of it.

Loved Dr. Lin. He was so thorough, a great listener, and extremely patient. He genuinely cared to listen to my history and health concerns. I was amazed that they offered an in house EKG as part of his physical exam. He is an excellent doctor with phenomenal bedside manner. I have not been to a PCP in 2 years but going to him will change my routine to be more regular.
