Dr. Shereen Mahmood is an Assistant Professor of Rheumatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an Attending Clinician at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Mahmood received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Northwell Health followed by Fellowship in Rheumatology at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Her clinical areas of focus include: connective tissue diseases, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, crystal deposition diseases, spondyloarthropathies, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis. During her fellowship, she explored her research interests in nutrition, community awareness, and arthritis.

Dr. Sheeren listened to my concerns, but there was a long wait time. I was able to see my results on the portal and am awaiting the interpretation of my results. Would recommend but if getting blood work the same day you would need to make another appointment for same day or another which was an inconvenient but wait time for that was 15 minutes. Overall since this was my first time it went okay and would recommend.

I am certain that Dr. Mahmood considered all possibilities in finding the cause of my discomfort. Labs and x-rays were provided on site, with a very quick turnaround. I think she's very caring. She breaks it down to the patient. If she's not the correct doctor/specialist for your, she will try her best to set you up on the right track.
