I was born and raised in rural Eastern Montana, where I was active in sports like basketball, soccer, and softball, as well as creative endeavors. I always thought I would work as an architect, but I discovered my passion for medicine during my undergraduate studies at Montana State University in Bozeman. There, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience with a minor in Women’s Studies. I then attended Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington, where I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree while living in Ellensburg. In 2018, I moved to Olympia. I was drawn to Family Medicine because it offers variety and the opportunity to form next-level relationships with patients. I am passionate about preventive medicine, mental health, and empowering patients to feel in control of their health care decisions. In my free time, I love attending concerts and sports games, hiking with my husband and dog, and spending time boating and fishing.
